Industrial Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to oversee safety operations for boiler painting work at the Jindal plant. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and maintaining a safe working environment at site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety practices during boiler painting and related activities
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, rules, and regulations
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety training for workers
• Identify hazards and take preventive and corrective actions
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at site
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinate with site management and contractors on safety matters
• Investigate accidents/near-miss incidents and submit reports

Minimum Qualifications:

• ADIS / PDIS / Diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory)

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer
• Experience in boiler work, painting work, or heavy industrial plant will be preferred

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of industrial safety standards
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently at site

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
